Tips on Searching and How this Search Engine Works.

• The search engine will display a list of matching documents. The better matches are shown first.
• Each list item is a link to a matching document.
• If what you are looking for is not listed, try going to the homepage. Pick a general topic heading that seems similar to what you are looking for.

How this Search Engine Works
The search engine uses a method called a "Boolean" search. This means that the search will automatically fill in the word "or" between each of the words you put in the search field.

An example of how this works and how you can improve your search:

"cat dog" finds documents containing the word 'cat' or the word 'dog'

"cat or dog" it also finds documents containing 'cat' or 'dog'

"cat and dog" finds documents containing both 'cat' and 'dog'

"cat not dog" finds documents containing 'cat' but not 'dog'

"(cat not dog) and Shaggy" finds documents containing the word 'shaggy', plus the word 'cat' but not documents witht the word 'dog'
